Regroup, Reframe, REVEAL....
Just a minute.... That's really all life is, just a minute....blink, turn your head just a little, and you miss the whole point. So easy to do these days, all the distractions, all the choices, all the doodads and gadgets and stuff.... Took a walk on the beach almost two weeks ago on what was supposed to be rewardingly sinfully relaxing weekend, getting away just before embarking on a new professional journey. The end of an era--leaving a somewhat stable, albeit VERY stressful job, exploring a totally different non-governmental world for a promotional opportunity. Call me crazy for leaving a County job, I know. But something told me I had to go. So, listen to the inner voice did I.... Along the way to our weekend getaway, news of the sudden death of a dearest friend's father took the rewardingly sinful part and added a very humble and reflective quality to that brief walk on the beach--for which I'm so profoundly grateful.
